Howard Lee Bosha

Howard Bosha, 81, transitioned peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on January 15, 2025.
Services are Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at First Baptist Church 1115 3rd St. Nome, TX. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Haven of Rest Cemetery Beaumont, TX.
Howard Lee Bosha was an affectionate, dedicated, and hardworking man who always put the needs of others before himself. He was born in Grayburg, TX; to Blanch Kenedy and Howard Darks. He was subsequently adopted by Harrison and Rita Bosha. He was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit and his witty sense of humor.
He was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, but in his later years he attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Nome, Texas. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, and he was willing to offer words of encouragement to whomever needed it.
He was married to his beloved wife, Carolyn Lee Bosha, for 54 years. Their union produced 2 beautiful daughters, Yatisha Sankey, and Christina Bosha, along with his sons, Zjori Bosha, and A'marion Riley (son at heart). He was a devoted husband and father, whose personality brought warmth and joy to those he encountered. His passing will be mourned deeply, and his memory will always remain in the hearts of those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. He loved basketball and was eager to share his knowledge with others, regardless of their willingness to know or learn the necessary skills at that moment.
He was preceded in death by his adopted parents: Harrison and Rita Bosha, and his biological mother and father, Blanch Kenedy and Howard Darks; along with his stepmother Frances Darks; two (2) brothers: Raymond Kenedy and Darryl Crosby; and his sister: Orea Kenedy.
He leaves behind his wife: Carolyn Bosha; two (2) daughters: Yatisha Sankey (Andre) and Christina Bosha; two (2) sons: Zjori Bosha (Maci) and A'marion Riley (son at heart); two (2) grandsons: Dre' An Sankey, and Darian Sankey. He also leaves behind a great granddaughter: Zuri Sankey; along with a plethora of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and in-laws who will miss his presence.
