Howard William Bryant, age 86, of Ringwood and formerly of Wisconsin, passed away January 27, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Carol Bryant. Loving partner to Mary Ellen Shine for 18 years. Loving father to Dusty (Ruthi) Bryant, Alan (Kim) Bryant, Kelly Bryant, David (Jen) Bryant, Rebecca (Mohit) Bhargava, and the late Kathy Bryant. Grandfather to Rachel (Matt), Collin, Jonathan, Madison (Brett), Ripley (Phillip), Fiona, Scarlett, Reya, and Nora. Great-grandfather to Gabriel, Sebastian and Tennyson. Dear brother to William "Bill" (Barb) Bryant. Cousin, uncle, and friend to many. Howard was most content when he was outdoors, immersed in nature. An avid photographer, he loved capturing the world through his lens. He had a great appreciation for a good dad joke and was fluent in sarcasm. Howard found joy in yard work and could often be found happily puttering around his yard. He also enjoyed working through crossword puzzles. He will be deeply missed. A visitation will be held February 6 at Colonial Funeral Home, McHenry IL. from 2pm to 4pm. A service will be held at 4pm immediately following the visitation.
