Howard Carpenter Obituary

EWING It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Carpenter, 63, of Ewing, New Jersey on December 26, 2022. A lifelong Trenton area resident, Howard was a 1977 graduate of Steinert High School. He worked as a master carpenter in the family business Camelot Kitchens for many years where his meticulous attention to detail served well their many clients. More recently he was employed at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. Howard had been a member of Elks Lodge 105, the American Legion Post 314, and the Rainbow Rod & Gun Club. His annual 4th of July firework spectacular was a highly anticipated event for all. A skilled craftsman, Howard's handiwork is proudly on display in the homes of many family members and friends. Howard was a devoted family man, and his loyalty to his family, friends and country knew no bounds. We will dearly miss his staunchly protective nature, his endearingly rambling stories, his deep belly laugh, and his generous heart. Predeceased by his parents Barbara and Rex Carpenter, Howard is survived by his wife Sherri, his daughters Nicole (Clint) Woolverton, Susabella (Tom) Morris, Heather (Andrew) Feole and Barbara Ann Carpenter, grandchildren Dallas, Isabella-Marie, Rocco, Abelina and Rex, sisters Lynn (Stephen) Henry and Beth (Bob) Wellemeyer, brother Pitts (Stephanie) Carpenter, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family services were privately held, under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave. Ewing, NJ. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "And remember…a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." "I've lived a life that's full…and more, much more than this, I did it my way." Murphy Funeral Home 935 Parkway Ave. Ewing, NJ 08618 (609) 882-3800

Sherrie so sorry for your loss, it´s a loss for us all. Many good hunting stories and memories with he and his dad Rex at the Rainbow R &GC. They both made many positive contributions to the club and were longtime members. That bottle of beer was always stuck on the end of his finger as he elaborated on his most recent experiences. So funny and full of life always.
RIP Buddy.

I am shocked and sad to hear of Howard passing. It's been many years since I last saw him and his family. Time passes much too quickly. Life is so short and yet so full that we forget to stay in touch sometimes. I often think of Howard and you Sherri and the girls. Actually the whole Carpenter Clan for that matter. I did manage to see everyone when Barb passed but missed Rex's and Howard's passing. God rest all of their souls. He was a great friend to me when we worked together. I will never forget him or all of you.
And in the end
the love you take
is equal to the Love you make...
Howard is taking all our Love with him.
Love to all.

May your hearts soon be filled with the wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Howard was a guy that always had a smile on his face and everyone enjoyed his joyful humor. I was lucky enough to know him from kindergarten up thru high school. We were on the wrestling team together, working on cars and same school bus. Lots of great memories.... I will miss him but always have those memories to cherish. RIP Howard until we meet again. The Heavens received an angel in Howard. Sherry and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Howard was an amazing man.

I remember being pregnant with our first child and Howard came over and installed a new set of stairs in our home. He and Bob worked all afternoon and through the night. when I woke up in the morning, they were still at it. THAT is the kind of man Howard was. The stairs were amazing!

Peace,

Howard was truly a master carpenter and gentleman. Our kitchen and bathrooms are testament to his talent. His work was perfection. We loved his stories and his beer for lunch. Rest easy, Howard. You are one very special person; we will never forget you.
