Howard William Devine

Howard passed away peacefully at his home in San Tan Valley on the early morning of February 22,2026 with his wife Naomi and his children, Howard and Stella, by his side. Howard was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While in High School he started volunteering in EMS and became a Paramedic after where he served the City of Chester. Howard enjoyed being a Paramedic but decided to become a nurse in the year 2000.

After graduating nursing school, Howard decided to become an ER Travel Nurse where he met his wife. After 4 years of traveling, they settled in Arizona to start a family. Howard took on a position as Flight Nurse with Native Air. He enjoyed being a Flight Nurse and the autonomy he had in this role.

After the birth of Stella, Howard decided to retire and stay home to raise his children. There were no dull moments with him and the kids. He would take them to local parks, museums, farmers market, mall and new restaurants. They always had hot lunches and were never late to school or any after school activities.

Besides his love of traveling internationally, he also loved playing the guitar and taught his son to play as well. He enjoyed playing golf with both of them.

Though he only lived for 54 short years, he left a legacy that will be forever remembered by his friends, co-workers and family. He will be dearly missed.
