Howard Olen Jessie

Howard Olen Jessie, age 74, of Glasgow, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2024. He was born March 20, 1949, in Franklin, Kentucky to the late Olen E. Jessie and the late Marie (Brown) Jessie.
He attended Franklin-Simpson High School where he excelled in the football program. He moved to Pinellas Park, FL in 1972. While in Florida he worked for Bekins Moving and Storage. Howard was a school bus driver for the Pinellas County School Board and owned a lawn maintenance business. He was involved in Pinellas Park Little League where he managed and umpired several teams. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He moved back to Kentucky in 1995. He loved his life and loved it to the fullest.
He is survived by his two sons, Jeremy Jessie, and Jameson Jessie; one daughter, Julianne Kemp (David); three granddaughters, Madison, Cassidy, and Hannah; several nieces, nephews and many friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Jessie; sister, Jeanette Horton; stepmom, Wilma Jean.
The funeral service for Mr. Jessie will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 1st, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Union #2 Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until time for the funeral service at the funeral home.
