Howard Lee Russell

Howard Lee Russell, 69, of Pembroke, KY died at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at his residence.

Memorial services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at Casky Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Greenville, SC he was born April 11, 1956 the son of the late Billy Thomas Russell and Dororthy Nell Carney Russell. He spent more than 30 years working in the family business, Russell Sheet Metal, and later continued his career with Western State Hospital. He had a true passion for duck hunting, spending time outdoors, and listening to 70's rock music. He took great pride in his album collection.

Survivors include his wife: Lisa Russell of Pembroke, KY; and his son: Matthew (Emily) Russell of Hopkinsville, KY; and his daughter: Kaci (Ryan) Mason of Nolensville, TN; and his step son: Dylan (Coryn) Carroll of Dayton, OH; and his step daughter: Casey Carroll of Pembroke, KY; and his brother: Mark (Kathy) Russell of Madisonville, KY; and his grandchildren: Preston, Greyson, Brayden, Posie, Myles, Sylas, Molly, Waylon and Remi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to WNKJ Christian Radio Station.
