Blacksburg - Howard Lee Thompson Jr., of Fridy Street Apartments, passed away on Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at his residence. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Gladys Willie Lee Hambric McCluney and the late Howard Lee Thompson Sr. No services are planned at the present time. The Blacksburg location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Thompson family.
