Mr. Howard Paul Wildfong, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Howard was born in Millington, Michigan, on February 18, 1934, to Carlin & Dorothy Wildfong (née Morse). Howard honorably served in the U.S. Navy from June 1952 to June 1956. He married the love of his life, Lois Murphy, on September 28th, 1959. Before retirement, Howard was a supervisor with Fisher Body in Grand Blanc, where he worked for 34 years. Further, Howard was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and proud grandpa.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Wildfong; son, David (Shelli) Wildfong; grandchildren, Colin Wildfong, and Sophia Wildfong; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Howard’s family will welcome guests to Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Howard’s memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Gloria Cox presiding. The service will be followed by a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to McLaren Hospice and Homecare Foundation and The Michigan Chapter of the National Kidney Foundation.
