Howard was born on January 1, 1957, in Ft. Knox, KY to his parents H M Wilson and Delores June Wilson-McAnally.
Howard retired after 22 years as a special education teacher for Farnsley Middle School. Howard enjoyed watching UofL Cardinals, working on his 62 Impala, and hanging with his friends at Valley Liquors.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Konrad, Mark, and Shawn.
Howard is survived by his sweetheart of 17 years Wanda Wittmer, children Howard Wilson Jr.(Brandy), Jennifer Green (Scott), Amanda Gladstein (Jarin), grandchildren Howard Wilson III, Kayla, Cameron, Caleb, Aryanna, Sophie, Arabella, Wyatt; great grandchildren Fionah, Kinley, Kylie, Laylani, Kalvin; sister Sydney Dowell (Donnie), and a host of family and friends that loved him.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 5, 2024, at 6:00pm Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-6:00pm at the funeral home.
