HRH Prince Michael Akran
September 27, 2025 – October 4, 2025
Michael Akran was born on September 27, 2025, at Jackson Memorial Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida, to parents Mauton Akran and Olayinka Badejo. After seven precious days filled with love and hope, Michael passed away peacefully at the same hospital on October 4, 2025.
Though his time on earth was brief, Michael touched the hearts of everyone. He brought immeasurable joy to his parents and family, leaving behind a lasting reminder of love's strength and the beauty found in every moment shared. From inception Michael was a fighter. He overcame many obstacles to be with us and in doing so he gave us the strength to continue fighting as well. With Michael the future became limitless. He showed us parts of ourselves we didn't know we had. Michael brought us closer to God, to each other and to family. He showed us just how capable we are and gave our lives a new meaning. We will miss Michael but we are rest assured knowing that just like the archangel, he is watching over us from above.
He is deeply loved and forever cherished by his parents, Mauton and Olayinka; his grandparents; and a wide circle of family and friends who awaited his arrival with joy and continue to hold him close in their hearts.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Van Orsdel Funeral Home Midtown Miami, 3333 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park North, 4420 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33134. The family invites loved ones to join in honoring Michael's life and the joy he brought during his brief but meaningful time with us.
