In Loving Memory of Aida Luz Delgado (née Cintron)
March 29, 1955 – July 8, 2025
Aida Luz Delgado (née Cintron), aged 70, of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 29, 1955, in Cataño, Puerto Rico, and moved to Florida at the age of 18, soon after marrying her beloved husband, Hector Joaquin Delgado. Together, they shared 52 beautiful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, family, and resilience.
A devoted wife, nurturing mother, and cherished grandmother, Aida dedicated her life to caring for others. As a homemaker and trusted babysitter to many family and friends' children, her home was a place of comfort and joy-filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals, the sound of music, and the warmth of her unwavering love. She found great joy in traveling to visit loved ones in New Jersey, throughout Florida, and back home to Puerto Rico. Aida especially treasured family trips to Disney, where she created lasting memories with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Hector Joaquin Delgado; her children: Hector Delgado Jr. (and grandson Carlos Brunson), Daniel Delgado (and granddaughter Mary Delgado), Esgar Delgado, Wanda Delgado (and grandchildren Marino Paulino, Jr. and Bella Paulino), Eric Delgado, and Lisbeth Delgado (and granddaughter Brielle Brathwaite). She is also survived by a host of extended family members who will carry her memory forward.
Aida was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Rivera and Antonio Cintron, as well as her siblings: Heriberto Cintron, Antonio Cintron, Ricardo Cintron, and Florencio Cintron.
