Deacon Hubert Wesley "Crow" Harrelson

Hubert Wesley Harrelson, better known as "Crow" entered this life on June 15, 1950 in Orange County, North Carolina as the eldest child of the late Hubert Nester and Lucille Brasher Harrelson.

He attended Sweet Gum Elementary School in Caswell County and graduated from Central High School, Graham, Class of 1968. After graduation and over time, he would continue working for Cone Mills, Webco Mills and P&S Machines. He also learned and enjoyed landscaping (under the employ of Joseph Martin Landscapes) and working on the farm. He loved sports, specifically football and basketball (both college and professional). He on the basketball pickup games with the guys in the neighborhood in earlier years. And, car racing.

Under the leadership of Reverend Clarence Hairston, Jr., he professed his belief in Jesus was baptized. He was received as a member of Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church. His works, which spanned over the years included, Usher, Trustee-in-Training, Deacon, Member of Christian Education Ministry Sunday School Superintendent (until his health declined), Membership Committee and member of the Male Chorus to name a few. But, mainly he worked where he was needed.

On the afternoon of December 8, 2025, he quietly and peacefully made his transition. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Sidney "Rooster" Corbett, David Lee Harrelson, Julius "Bossman" Harrelson, Gathern Junior "Duke" Harrelson and niece, Olivia Harrelson.

Those left to cherish his memories: wife, Judy; son, Heath Weston Harrelson; bonus daughters, Verlisha Harrelson and Dorian Harrelson; four grandchildren: Daisha, Nicholas, Breahna and Christopher and nine bonus grandchildren; sister, Lena Harrelson Burnette; nieces, Regina Burnette and Keisha Rogers Cotton (Brooks Cotton); nephew Rodney (wife, Alecia); one uncle, Larry Currie, and a host of, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
