Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow in the Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
Hubert was born August 23, 1937 in Jackson Co., TN. to the late Oliver Huff and the late Evelyn Carnahan Huff. He was preceded in death by 3 children, Judy Fay Huff, Jessica Rosa and Robert Huff; a grandson, Clint Huff; a great-granddaughter, Trinity Huff; and 8 siblings, Dorothy Fleming, Patsy Huff, Ima Jean Anna Wheatly, Janie Gann, David Huff, Jasper Huff, James Huff and Jackie Huff.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma (Pirtle) Huff; 2 children, Herbie Huff of Franklin, KY and Betty Ray (Mark) of Rock Hill, SC; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Bobby Huff of Franklin, KY, Sue Brown of Franklin, KY and Joann Felts of Nashville, TN.
Hubert attended Lighthouse of Truth Church in Franklin, KY. He was the co-owner Simpson County Mowing Service.
