Hubert C. Lynch

Hubert Cleveland Lynch, 92, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2025. A lifelong resident of Greer, South Carolina, and a proud United States Army veteran, he was the son of the late Howard C. Lynch and Dora Thompson McCraw. Mr. Lynch retired as a computer operator with Wunda Weave/Dan River.

Hubert was a dedicated member of Greer First Baptist Church, where he faithfully operated the church sound system for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Phyllis Wilkerson Lynch; a sister, Martha Lynch Rodgers (Frank); a niece, Linda Janet Rodgers; and a sister-in-law, Sheelah Belcher Lynch, all of Greer.

He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Lynch, and his twin brother, Buford Lynch.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Dr. Doug Mize and will be held at The Wood Mortuary, 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, with the family receiving friends from 2:15 until 3:15 p.m. Webcasting will be available at www.thewoodmortuary.com. Burial will be private.
