Hubert Prater Obituary
Mr. Prater is survived by his son, Jimmy Ray Prater of Smyrna; grandchildren, Pamela Nickens of Ashland City, Jamie (Matt) Green of Murfreesboro and Jason (Mary Jo) Prater of Smyrna. 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive.
He was a hard worker who liked to keep himself occupied and actually retired twice-first from Werthan, and then from the Metro Nashville Water Treatment Plant. He also enjoyed tinkering and repairing cars. Highly independent, he had a knack for fixing just about anything.
His family will receive friends, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Agnew officiating. Interment will follow in Prater cemetery.
