Hubert Rosson Jr.

Hubert Junior Rosson, 97, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Life Care Center in Brookfield, Missouri.

Hubert was born August 7, 1928, in Lock Spring, Missouri, the son of Howard Rosson Sr. and Georgia (Harper) Rosson. He spent most of his life in the New Cambria area and worked many years as a mechanic in the automotive industry. Hubert was known for his strong work ethic and the skills he developed through a lifetime of working with his hands. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and visiting the sale barn for breakfast with friends.

He was united in marriage to Marquita Rosson, July 10, 1982.

Survivors include his children, Marlyn Carter of Keytesville, Missouri, Kelly Ehrhart and husband Richard of Brookfield, Missouri, and Tammy Myers of Creston, Iowa; numerous grandchildren including Alicia, Sammie, Jennifer, Anthony, Jessica, Crystal, Billie Jean, Daniel, Dawna, Kenneth, Shelly, Jeff, and Crystal; 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marquita Rosson; his daughter, Arlene Clevland and her husband, Larry; his brother, Howard Jr. Rosson; and his sisters, Katie Ellis, May Winters, Margaret Rose Eden, and infant Gayle Lynn Rosson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Delaney Funeral Home to assist with the purchase of a headstone.
