Hubert Allen Ward was a dedicated soul to those he loved. He spent his life with kindness and never was selfish, he often put the needs of others before himself.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Ward, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years, his parents; Howard and Girthel Ward, his daughter; Rita Ozment, as well as his sisters; Nadyne Hood and Donna Ward, and grandson; Shannon Faust.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons; Wade Ward and wife Maryjane, and Josh Ward, daughter; Cheryl Stanley, brother; J.L. Ward and wife Vickie, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Hubert had a passion for the outdoors, he fished and hunted. He will be leaving behind his beloved dogs, Peanut and Honey. He enjoyed having them on his lap, sitting on the porch and watching the day go by.
He worked at Jorgensen Steel and Aluminum until retirement. His work ethic and craftsmanship were admired by many. He found satisfaction working with his hands outdoors.
Visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas, on April 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM. Hubert will be laid to rest at Morgan Cemetery, with the burial taking place at 2:00 PM the same day. He leaves behind a heartfelt legacy that will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
