Hue Thi Huynh Obituary
Hue Thi Huynh, 83, of Braintree died peacefully in the early morning hours of May 22, 2024 surrounded by the love, comfort and care of her devoted family following a period of declining health. She was the wife of Khinh Tang.
Hue was born in Saigon, Vietnam. Hue and Khinh married in 1966 and immigrated to the United States in 1980 to raise their family. Here, she had a long and enjoyable career at Fishery Products.
As her children grew older and eventually married, Hue embraced her new role as grandmother and she took a very active role in caring and helping to raise them for over 20 years. She will be lovingly remembered for her generosity, kindness and love -always sacrificing for the betterment of her family- as well as her wisdom; reminding her family to always work hard to earn money and to not be wasteful with it.
As her grandchildren grew older she found enjoyment in watching TVB dramas and visiting the area casinos to pass the time, playing the slot machines.
Devoted mother of Ming Tang and his wife Cece Tang of Braintree, Lena (Tang) Sasaluxanon and her husband Matin Sasaluxanon of Braintree and the late Lee (Tang) Chi and her husband Brian Chi of California. Cherished grandmother of Scherina Chi, Genevieve Tang, Alicia Chi, Nathan Chi, Sophia Tang and Mila Sasaluxanon.
Visiting Hours Sunday May 26, 2024 from 9am-12:00noon at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel, 650 Hancock St, Quincy. Interment will take place Wednesday, June 5th at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree at 1:00pm.
