Keohane Funeral Home - QuincyCorinne Patrice (Trainor) Firestone, of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 29, 2025. She was 47.
She was born in Boston to Irene (Lynch) and Edward T. Trainor and raised in Quincy. She graduated from North Quincy High School, Class of 1996. She then attended Elizabeth Grady Esthetician School and pursued a career as a make up artist. She was talented and did well, however her passion shifted toward canine care as she began grooming dogs. She found her niche and opened a dog grooming business in East Milton called Shaggy Chic. Eventually she moved the business to Manchester, CT.
Corinne loved her work, but her greatest source of pride came from being an aunt to her 4 nieces, whom she adored. Her life centered around time spent with her family and friends. In her spare time, she was dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and finding them homes to become adopted. She loved hiking and taking her dogs for long walks.
Corinne was a gentle soul whose presence brought quiet light into the lives of those around her. An old soul at heart, she found joy in life’s simple, beautiful moments. She was not drawn to the material world; instead, she cultivated a life rich in meaning, creativity, and kindness. Corinne had an artistic spirit, often expressing herself through her unique view of the world. Those who knew her best were lucky enough to experience her understated sense of humor; a private gift she shared with those she loved.
Cherished daughter of Irene (Lynch) and Edward T. Trainor of Quincy. Loving sister to Stacy Trainor-Scott of Quincy. Adoring aunt to Mia, Fallyn, Georgia and Rowan Scott. Also survived by former spouse and best friend, Matthew Firestone, her dog, Ben and many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday October 7, 2025, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
