Nancy P. Firestone, 89, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She was born March 28, 1936 to the late Harry and Florence (Fry) Poorman. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Boyd Firestone, since June, 2017.
Nancy was born and raised in Palmyra, a hometown she was deeply proud of and always held close to her heart. She cherished time spent with her husband, especially traveling together on golf trips and enjoying time with friends on trips across the country. Nancy and Boyd played bridge with friends for decades, valuing the friendships and laughter that came with it.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Nancy loved all things sports and followed them with great enthusiasm. She was an active and devoted member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Palmyra, where her faith and service were an important part of her life. A trailblazer, Nancy made history as the first woman president of Lebanon Country Club, a role she accepted with pride and dedication.
Above all, Nancy treasured her friendships, her faith, and the community she called home. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth, leadership, and the joy she brought to those around her.
