Hugh Dodson

Hugh Dodson passed away on January 19, 2010 at age 70. The family will be accepting friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. The church service, conducted by Brother Gordon Lee and Brother David Spence, is 11 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Church of God Worship and Ministry Center (1007 Hartsville Pike, Lebanon TN, 615.444.3231). Visitation at the church is from 10 a.m. until service. Interment in Plain View Cemetery, Cassville Community, Sparta. Pallbearers: Kade Dodson, Shannon Dodson, Kendall Dodson, Conner Dodson, Mike Prince, Alex Araujo, Scott Anderson, Darren Cook, and Billy Craddock. Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Patton, James Hinsley, Rip Van Winkle, Sammy Roller, Comer Russell, Billy Thomas, Marco Phillips, Wayne Barnes, Jimmy Martin, and Charles Robinson. Survivors include wife of 52 years, Barbara Dodson; children: Mark (Candace) Dodson and Greg (Mary) Dodson; siblings: Sylvia Cook, Judy (Morgan) Anderson,, Kathy (Lawrence) Glenn, and Mickey Dodson; grandchildren: Kade Dodson, Morgan Dodson, Kendall Dodson, Conner Dodson, and Brady Dodson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Arlis and Mary Van Winkle Dodson, brother Phillip Dodson, and brother-in-law: Carman Cook.
