Hugh Robert "Bob" Kennedy

Warren - H. Robert (Bob) Kennedy, 83, passed away on February 13, 2025 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Linda Platt Kennedy.
Bob was born in Torrington on August 24, 1941 to the late Hugh and Beatrice Kennedy. He was raised in Roxbury and graduated from Woodbury High School.
In 1962, Bob began working for the Litchfield County Artificial Breeders as a technician, serving dairy farms in Litchfield County. He continued to work through many mergers and changes in the dairy industry retiring in 2007 as a District Manager. A true people person, Bob not only enjoyed helping family, friends and neighbors but truly enjoyed working with farmers and co-workers throughout his career. He also appreciated the continuing friendship and helping hands enjoyed during his later years.
In addition to his wife, Linda, of Warren, Bob is survived by three sons; William (Allyson) of Sharon, James (Wendy) of W. Cornwall, and David of Bantam, a sister, Peggy Johnson of Tallahassee, Fl; a granddaughter, Amanda of Litchfield, four grandsons; David (Brenda) of Harwinton, Thomas (Jamie) of Harwinton, William of Southbury and Patrick of W. Cornwell and three great-grandchildren; Kayden, Kolton and Reagan.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 21 from 5-7pm at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Graveside services will be held in the spring.
