Preacher did maintenance work on my machines at BASF. He never said a lot (I am not a big talker either), but I knew he was a good man. Years later he and my father met at French Broad. Although my father had never worked with him at BASF; he was in maintenance too. Daddy thought a lot of him and spoke often of him. When my Mom passed away Preacher made each of us a candle holder from the flower stands. I will always remember that thoughtful gesture. Daddy is gone now and I am sure Preacher and Daddy are reminiscing about the days they spent at BASF.

To the family,
I am Lena, the sister-n-law of Cecil. I remember being at the childhood home with Wynona playing and having a great time. Hugh Lee was younger than me, a skinny boy him and Lowell. I have prayed many prayers for Hugh Lee over the years as I kept in touch with Osa and Cecil. I am sorry for your loss but not sorry for Hugh Lee as he is in a better place with the Lord. May the God of all comfort be with you during this time. For those who are in Christ Jesus, we will meet again.
Blessing's,
Lena Street Honeycutt

Pam. I was sorry to read about your fathers passing. We are never ready for our loss; but I could tell in reading your Dad's obituary- he was ready. What a blessing to know that his earthly life reflected his heavenly life to be! Not to mention I have seen some of his faith reflected through you! You are a wonderful reflection of Gods good. Love.
