Hugh Timony Obituary
He was the beloved son of the late Hugh J. Timony, Sr, and Brigid V. Timony. Hugh was born on October 27th, 1961 in New York City. He served the U.S. Navy which enabled him to see the world. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he worked as a laser technician in the mid-west, until he returned home to East Boston due to ill health. Hugh loved to watch quiz shows as well as being an avid reader of books. He lived quietly surrounded by family and friends and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his siblings; Margaret McCrory of Cookstown, Ireland; David Timony of East Boston; Maria Timony (Mark Tabb) of Bellingham and the late Eileen Clark (Paul Clark) of East Wareham, as well as his wider family circle.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 22nd at 1:30 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the ITAM – Post 6, 60 Paris St, Boston, MA 02128.
