John Francis Timony

John Francis Timony, 75, US Navy, passed away on May 28, 2024.

John's journey began at the Naval Academy, where he honed his skills and dedication to serving his nation with pride, earning dual degrees in Electrical and Nuclear Engineering. He embarked on an illustrious career aboard nuclear submarines, voyaging around the globe.

If one wanted to create an icon of a "good man", John Timony would make an excellent model.

To all of the Timony's,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved John. John was my cousin & godfather. Sadly we did not know each other, a great age difference and states apart, but memories of all of you from your family beach house "down the shore" as youth are so wonderful! I do remember that fabulous smile and the same twinkle in his eyes like his Dad, my Uncle John. My heart hurts for all of you. You are all in my thoughts. May time ease your pain.

Dear Brenda and ALL my Timony cousins and their families...My heart is breaking for each of you. Mere words are just not enough at this time but please know that my beloved cousin, John, and each of you are being remembered in my prayers...not just now...but forever.
With Deep Sympathy and Much Love, Kathleen
