Huguette Martynow Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 20, 2025.
Huguette "Nelly" Martynow was born on February 11, 1944 in Limoges, France, and passed away on October 16, 2025 in Round Rock, Texas, at the age of 81. She leaves behind a beloved husband, four children, twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In life, she was a boundless font of love, who brought joy and happiness to everyone who knew her. Her love for her family was matched only by her love of life itself, a life that she always felt should be lived to the fullest. She was the best kind of troublemaker -- never afraid to stand up for herself, never afraid to do what she felt needed to be done, never afraid to speak her mind, or to be who she was.
Family was everything to her, and the love she put out into the world came back to her tenfold. There was nothing and no one she put above her family, not even herself. She spent sixty wonderful years with the love of her life, Victor, and leaves behind a legacy of love, one that will endure for decades to come. Her final moments were spent with those who loved her most, and she passed away surrounded by the family she built, wrapped in the love that defined her life. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a memorial Mass in her honor at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Austin TX, at 1:30 PM on Friday, November 7th. A reception will follow immediately afterwards in the PAC Dining Room.
