Gaylon Blythe lived with an open heart and a playful spirit.
Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and most recently resided in Georgetown, Texas, Gaylon filled her world and the lives of those she loved with laughter and care.
She adored her family and treasured her friendships deeply. She had a gift for making ordinary moments feel special, a laugh shared in the kitchen, a batch of something sweet pulled from the oven, a simple craft that became a keepsake. Gaylon loved to laugh and wasn't afraid to be silly; a reminder for us not to take life too seriously.
In recent years, she found joy in traveling, exploring new places, creating new memories, and especially sharing adventures with her daughters. She was also a true animal lover and rescuer, always opening her heart to those who needed it most.
Gaylon is survived by her husband, Joseph, her daughters Summer and Sara, her sons-in-law Matthew and Tony, and her beloved grandchildren Lenny and Avery. She is also survived by her brothers Doug and Tommy, and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever carry her spirit close.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 1, 2025, at Ma Maison in Dripping Springs, Texas, where loved ones will gather to honor Gaylon's life.
May we remember her with gratitude for every smile she gave, every bit of love she offered, and every beautiful moment she left behind.
