Anna Teresa Winterringer, 68, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on August 22, 2025. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born on October 11, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Arthur and Mary Husketh, Teresa's passion for education shaped her life's work. She earned both her undergraduate and master's degrees in Education Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, where she went on to dedicate over 32 years of service. Working across various departments and ultimately achieving faculty status, her commitment to education and community left a lasting impact on the university she loved.
After retirement, Teresa channeled her energy into launching the family business, Timberline Realty Group, LLC with her husband Bill. With a keen eye and natural instinct, she had a true gift for identifying the perfect rental properties that built their real estate portfolio from the ground up.
Teresa found joy in life's simple pleasures and lived with remarkable zest. An avid reader and passionate gardener, she cherished summer days on Lake Austin, water skiing with family and friends. Her enthusiasm for babies and the elderly was infectious, and her heart for service led her to volunteer faithfully at local churches and nursing homes. Weekend mornings often found her hunting for hidden treasures at garage sales, delighting in each unique discovery.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Bill Winterringer; her son, Arthur Riley Winterringer, and his wife, Nakisha; her cherished grandson, Billy Winterringer; her sisters, Cookie Fickel and husband Mike, and Vera Beheler and husband Fred; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Husketh.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Neuroendocrine Cancer Foundation.
