Jeffrey (Jeff) Glenn Moore, also affectionately referred to at times as "Feffy" or "Uncle Feffy", 64, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on October 6, 2025, in his hometown of Austin, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and kindness that will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jeff was born just one minute after his twin sister, Jennifer, on April 4, 1961, at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas to Lt. Col. William R. Moore and Zelda Brinkerhoff Moore.

He grew up embraced by a large and loving family with a lifetime of memories with his siblings Russel, Sharon, Garrie, and Jennifer. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with laughter, shared stories, and love that will be treasured forever.

Jeff grew up in South Austin and attended Crockett High School, Class of "79". On June 29, 1985, Jeff married Shelley Cain. Together they had two daughters, Tara Lynn and Tabitha Kay. Although they later divorced, Jeff would forever be grateful for the daughters she gave him.

Jeff's caring nature and adventurous spirit led him to a life of service and exploration. He began his career as a paramedic at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas, where his compassion for others shone through. Later, he found freedom and joy on the open road as a long-haul truck driver for Swift and PAM, embracing the journey as much as the destination. He figured he could see the country and earn a paycheck while he was at it.

Jeff found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching movies, bringing laughter to every karaoke night-especially when singing his favorite, "Love Shack"-and creating funny "jib jab" videos that made family gatherings brighter. His constant companion and "baby girl," Chloe, his beloved little dog, brought him endless comfort and love.

Jeff is reunited in eternal peace with his cherished daughter, Tara Lynn Moore; his father, Lt. Col. William R. Moore; grandparents, Robert L and Mayme E Moore, Russel D and Georgina Pernia Brinkerhoff; and aunts, Velma Brinkerhoff Mahan, Jeanette Brinkerhoff Trees (Jasper).

Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Zelda L. Brinkerhoff Moore; beautiful daughter, Tabitha Kay Moore, Aunt Jo Ann Moore; Uncle George D. Brinkerhoff (Finita); siblings, Russel R. Moore (Mari Jeanne), Sharon L. Moore Brubaker (Terry Henninger), Garrie W. Moore (Marian Strauss) and twin sister, Jennifer G. Moore Beavers (Barry Matthews). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews-Robert R. Moore (Elise), Kimberly A. Moore (Derek Bryant), Heather M. Scott (Michael Miller), William "Billy" Brubaker (Blakeney), Amanda D. Scott Skowronek (Mike), J. Sam Moore (Jessica), Courtney L. Beavers Peterson (Trevor); Russell Hinton, Chandler Henninger Klein (Alex), and Casey Henninger Baker. Great nieces and nephews - Carson and Cooper Moore; Kimball and Beckham Brubaker; Brody Moore; Kade Scott, Braxton and Austin Skowronek; Ryker Miller; Collins Peterson; Tate, Trace and Levi Hinton; Caleb, Aubree and Liam Klein; Holden, Blake and Neely Baker, a great-great niece soon to arrive and several cousins.

Jeff was a man who embodied love, humor, and generosity. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel valued and loved. As Maya Angelou once wrote, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Jeff lived those words every day, leaving warmth, laughter, and love in every heart he touched.

His family and friends will forever celebrate the light he brought into their lives. Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, Jeff's spirit-his laughter, his kindness, and his love-will continue to shine in all who were blessed to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8, 2025. More details to follow.
