Hunter David Stewart

Hunter David Stewart, age 35, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on October 21st, 2025. He was born January 15, 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri to mother Renee Goldhart and father Steven Stewart.

Hunter, a previous student at the University of Kansas, was a lover of all things good in life: friends, music, movies, comedy, books, and food. He was a talented guitar player from a young age, and friends and family have many memories of him sharing his musical talent with them. A lifelong learner, he enjoyed studying philosophy and politics. He will be remembered by those that knew him for his way of making people laugh, his book and movie recommendations, and the way that conversation flowed so easily when talking with him.

Hunter leaves behind family who loved him dearly: grandmother Nancy Goldhart; grandparents Denis and Judy Stewart; grandparents Carl and Jill Goldhart; sister Natalie Smith (Jeremy); girlfriend Niki Schumann; niece Charlotte Smith, and nephew Benjamin Smith. He leaves behind many beloved friends who were like family to him. Hunter is preceded in death by his mother Renee Stewart and brother J.D. Stewart.

A private gathering will be held among Hunter's friends in honor of his life and legacy, and a family memorial and burial will be held in Keytesville, MO at a later date.
