Huntsen Willie Quick, cherished son, beloved grandson, and a precious member of the Quick family, was born into this world on February 22, 2026. Though his time with us was brief, the love and joy he brought to all who knew him will leave an indelible mark on our hearts forever.
On the very day he entered our lives, Huntsen's gentle spirit shone brightly, a little peanut who embodied pure love and innocence. His presence illuminated the lives of his mother, Amelia "Amy" S. Quick, and his father, John Willie Quick, Jr. They carried him with their hearts, embracing every moment of his life. In their words, “We carried you for every second of your life, and we will love you for the rest of our lives. We love and miss you, our little peanut. We cannot wait to hold you again.” These touching sentiments echo the profound love they held for their son, who meant the world to them, even in his short time.
Huntsen is also survived by his grandmothers, Vanessa Quick and Sue Mauk, who eagerly anticipated the joy of watching him grow. Each family member, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins, shared in the love surrounding him, reinforcing the bonds that define the Quick family lineage.
Though Huntsen was welcomed into the arms of Heaven on the same day he was born, his spirit will continue to inspire warmth and love among those left behind. He joins his late grandfather, John Willie Quick, Sr., who now holds him close, watching over him eternally.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Huntsen Willie Quick will be held on February 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Carter Funeral Homes in Rockingham, NC. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor a child who was and always will be deeply loved.
As we say goodbye to our precious Huntsen, let us carry his memory in our hearts, forever remembering the joy he brought and the love that will never fade away.
