Huong Cao Hoang, age 77, of Calhoun, passed away at his residence Wednesday evening May 22nd.
Mr. Hoang was born on February 16, 1947, in South Vietnam, the son of the late Tho Van Hoang and Son Thi Le. He was a member of the South Vietnamese Army and was a retired police officer. Mr. Hoang was a member of the St. Clement’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Hop Thi Nguyen, seven children, Canh Hoang and his wife Bich Vu, Xman Hoang and his wife Tham Do, Miehelle Hoang and her husband Hai Pham, Jennifer Hoang and her husband Ly Tran, Cong Hoang, Dat Hoang, and Van Hoang and her husband David Krulock. Seven grandchildren, Phuc Hoang, Loc Hoang, Vincent Hoang, Dylan Pham, Sophia Pham, Gabe Tran, and Isabella Tran.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday, May 27th at 10 am from the St. Clements Catholic Church with Father Nghia Tran officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
A prayer service will be conducted on Sunday, May 26th at 4 pm.
