Donna Young, 58, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. She was born in Rome, Georgia, on October 18, 1966, to the late Robert House and Robbie House McStotts. She was raised by her stepfather, Arvil McStotts, who was a father figure in her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Sybil House, Lewis House; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Raymond Silvers, Sheila House.
Donna is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stanley Young; sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and April Howard, Michael Howard, Josh and Kathern Young, Blake and Jennifer Young; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Kay House, Mitch and Tina McStotts; sister-in-law, Peggy House; sister, Judy Cochran; grandchildren, Cash Howard, Carter Howard, Aiden Ellis, Mackenzie Young, Eli Young, Madison Young, Rylee Ford, Bentley Ford, and Owen Young. She leaves behind many memories with her late dog, Baby, who was her constant companion.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 358 Hensley Rd. Calhoun, Georgia 30701.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 358 Hensley Rd. Calhoun, Georgia 30701.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
