Hyrum Frank Anderson

Hyrum Anderson, 1, passed away on December 21, 2023, in Kingman, Arizona. He was born on February 19, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Matthew Anderson and Janae Anderson. Hyrum is survived by his parents Matthew and Janae and his five siblings - Daniel, Evelyn, John, Nathan, and Seth.

Hyrum is a handsome boy who has brought his family so much joy. His piercing gaze, his toddling walk, his cute way of expressing himself all brought his family joy. If things were getting tense at home one of the parents would invite everyone to look at Hyrum which would immediately bring harmony as all had such feelings of love and tenderness for him. While he was not afraid to express himself he was a very amenable child and very easy-going. He loved to play and explore with his brothers and could often be seen with a ball or toy car in his hand. He would scream at the top of his lungs for something he would want and then when he received it he would politely say, "Tank you". He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

As a family we want to sincerely and wholeheartedly thank so many for their love, concern, and prayers for our family at this time. We have felt an overwhelming response on behalf of our family. We have been overcome with grief and have also been blessed with peace which passeth all understanding. We have felt the power of prayer sustaining us at this very difficult time. We know we have been strengthened by our Savior Jesus Christ. So many have sent donations to support us as well as sent their condolences and desires to help and be of service to our family. We have come to appreciate more fully the goodness of people and people's willingness to sit with us in our grief, to mourn with us as we mourn, and to comfort us as we are in need of comfort at this time. Many are strangers to us but have still sent their love and support. We thank you all for your love, concern, texts, service, donations, faith, and prayers. We eagerly await the day of the resurrection in which we will be able to be reunited with our son.

We would also like sincerely to thank the police officers, River Medical ambulance workers, and the Kingman Regional Medical Center staff for their immediate response to our 911 call and their attempts to revive our son.

The funeral service for Hyrum Anderson will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:30 AM at the Taylorsville 19th ward chapel located at 2030 W Chateau Ave in Taylorsville, Utah. There will be a viewing prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM and ending at 11:15 AM. Interment will take place at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, Utah.
