Ian Joseph Monroe, 43, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on July 26, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ian was a tow truck driver for Garners Towing for the past 15 years. He enjoyed going to the Anderson racetrack with his family and friends and playing video games. Most of all Ian loved raising his kids and spending time making memories with them. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Doug Monroe; the mother who raised him, Amanda Zagame; children, Natalie Passmore, Arion Passmore, Isabella Monroe, Ian Joseph Monroe, Jr., Zoey Jayne Monroe, Jordan Dean Monroe, Kellie Werner, Bradley Werner Jr., and Kaytlynn Werner; one granddaughter, Indica-Rose Marie Johnson; one grandson, Greyson Werner; one grandson on the way, Sebastian Lee; and best friend wife, Heather Lynn Barber.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jayme-Lynn Serenity.
