Ida Mae Botts, 86 of Cleveland, TN passed away Sunday, January 28th, 2024.

Ida was born and raised in Bradley County and graduated from Charleston High school. She started work at the age of 15, retired after 20 years of service with Hardwick Clothes then worked for First Baptist Church in the kitchen up until 3 years ago. Ida was a member of Waterville Baptist Church in Cleveland.  She loved being with her family, working outside in her yard, gardening, tending to her flowers, canning vegetables, and taking trips with her siblings. She was the world’s best pie maker and will always be remembered for them. Ida was a caring and loving woman and she will be deeply missed.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Pearl Davis; son, David Botts; brothers: Clyde, Milburn, and Taylor Davis.

Survivors include her daughter, Kaye Botts; son, Kenny (Melissa) Botts; grandchildren: Amanda (Chris) Stewart, Josh (Amanda) Botts, Jeremy Botts, Christopher Botts, Sierra Chess, and Omer Duncil; great grandchildren: Isaiah Branam, Sadie Stewart, Destini Crabtree, Kaiden Botts, and Allison Branham- Silvers; sister, Freeda Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31st from 5-9pm in the Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland at 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd NE Cleveland, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12pm in the Poole Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Dustin Wildes. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland, TN.
