Ida McGee

Ida (LeBlanc) McGee, age 86, beloved wife of the late Thomas J. McGee Jr. died Thursday at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada, April 30, 1937 a daughter of the late Jean and Bertha (Legere) LeBlanc and has lived in Lowell most of her life.
Ida worked at Symphonics in Lowell and then went on to work for and retire from BARD Company in Billerica having worked in the shipping and receiving department for many years.
She is survived by her son Brian McGee and his wife Cheryl of Lowell; three daughters, Donna Filiatrault and her husband Charles, Suzan Carbonneau and Barbara McGee all of Lowell; her daughter-in-law, Doris McGee of Lowell; one brother, Roger LeBlanc and his wife Elaine of Merrimack, NH; one sister Irene Rhinesmith of FL; her sister-in-law Judy Courtney and her husband Michael of Londonderry, NH as well as her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Thomas McGee, sister of the late Donald LeBlanc, Normand Corbin, Lucille Christman and Theresa Provost and mother-in-law of the late John Carbonneau.
It being her request all services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
