Charlton: Ida R. (Ianniccheri) Prunier, 99, of Gillespie Rd., passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24th, in her home.
Her husband, Walter W. Prunier, passed away in 1995. Her daughter, Sandra Kilborn, passed away in 2017. Ida leaves her daughter, Starr Ward of Charlton; her brother, Albert Ianniccheri of Novato, CA; her two sisters, Anita Sullivan of Connecticut and Sylvia Fahey of West Brookfield; her son-in-law, Natan Mazo of Charlton; her three grandchildren, Dean Kilborn and his wife AnnMarie of North Brookfield, Jamie Gegg and her husband Joey of Florida and James Ward of Charlton; her six great grandchildren, Amelia Kilborn, Brianna Kilborn, Brandon Kilborn; Aurora Gegg, Anastasia Gegg, and Brady Ward, her great-great granddaughter, Emmaline Sisco; a great-great grandson on the way; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Armand Ianniccheri and her two sisters, Irene Lefebvre and Elda Dupras. Ida was born in Southbridge the daughter of Peter and Mary J. (Balderelli) Ianniccheri.
Ida worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for many years, retiring many years ago. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Parish in Charlton. Ida enjoyed bowling and belonged to bowling leagues in Southbridge. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially playing Pitch at Mondos in Charlton. She loved working in her flower garden and doing landscaping in her yard. She enjoyed trips to the casino and loved making home made pasta.
A funeral Mass for Ida will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, at 11:00am in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton. A calling hour for Ida will be held in St. Joseph's Church on Wednesday, April 30th, from 10:00 to 11:00am, prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1120, Framingham, MA 01701.
The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
