Ida Mullins Teague, age 88, of
Grayson, Kentucky, peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the UK Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Born on January 27, 1937, in Reedville, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of the late William Riley and Nan Messer Mullins.
A devoted Christian and a long-time member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ, Ida's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her warmth and nurturing spirit were evident in all she did as a loving homemaker, where she spent countless hours cooking meals and sewing for those she loved.
Ida is reunited in eternal life with her beloved husband of 54 years, Charles R. "Chuck" Teague, as well as her daughter and son-in-law, Dempsey O'Brien and Murrie L. O'Brien; a grandson, Robert Eugene Barker; sisters, Florence Bowling and Nellie Faye Tussey; and brothers, Ernest "Pete" Mullins and Woodrow Mullins.
She leaves behind two devoted daughters, Teresa (Paul) Sagraves of Grayson and Diane (Vernon) Miller of Grayson. Ida's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Rickey (Jennifer) Campbell of Webbville, Jeannie (Marty) McGranahan of Grayson, and Mindy (Charles) Sexton of Grayson. Her family also includes great-grandchildren Zachary (Talia) McGranahan, Dylan (Morgan) Campbell, Barren Barker, Misty and Trent Barker, and Katey Campbell, alongside twelve great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by a stepdaughter, Terri Teague (Steve) Baker of Athens, GA, and her special caregivers, Kassie Scarbro and Felicia Barker, along with her beloved Oak Grove Church of Christ family and many friends who will dearly miss her.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, officiated by Bro. Bradley Cotton. The family will welcome friends for visitation from noon on Friday until the procession at 1:30 PM at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.
