Joyce Houck Obituary
Joyce Houck of Grayson passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Grayson, KY. She was born April 17, 1942, in Louisa, KY, a daughter of the late Charles Hubert and Nana Leah Hughes Bays. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Houck; a sister, JoAnn Boggs; and a granddaughter, Erin Howard.
Joyce was an office manager and secretary; she was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by son, John Aaron (Rita) Burton of Webbville, KY; two daughters, Regina Lynn (Guy) Jackson of Grayson, KY and Deanna (Mike) Mabry of Grayson, KY; eight grandchildren, Ryan (Lisa) Ison, Regan (Jason) Wiler, Derek Ison, Laura (Kenneth) Cassity, Caleb (Stacy) Mabry, Jessica (Timothy) Newman, Michael (Judy) Mabry and Eric Burton; an exceptional, caregiver, great granddaughter, Addison Wiler, along with twenty-one other great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Eddie Wiler, minister. Burial will follow at a later date in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Grayson.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

A precious first cousin who gave me many wonderful memories while I was just a young whipper-snapper growing up. Always kind and sweet, with an infectious smile and gentleness I´ll always remember. Love you Joyce. Prayers for her grieving family.
