Mary Alice Middleton

Mary Alice Martin Middleton, 65, of Grayson departed this life on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Mary was born September 1, 1960, in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Lawrence Hubert Martin and Helen Wilburn Rigsby. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her stepfather, Wert Rigsby, Jr.; one brother, Jack "Jackie" Martin; one sister, Bonnie Criswell; and a nephew that she thought of as her own son, Punkin Martin.

Mary loved her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and dancing.

Mary is survived by five sons, Jerry (Leigh) Hall, Dustin (Bonnie) Owens, Scotty Hall, Phillip (Christina) Martin, George (Keeli) Caudill all of Grayson; two daughters, Sue (Markie Wilber) Layne of Clearfield and Helen (Josh) Hunter of North Carolina; twenty-four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon White, and Sandy (Greg) Boggs both of Ohio; and a host of extended family and friends that mourn her passing.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Dustin Owens, Jerry Hall, Scotty Hall, Dustin Owens, Jr., Jerry Hall, Jr., Phillip Martin, George Caudill, William Hall, Dustin W. Martin, and Dakota Tolliver.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will follow in the Hall-Martin Family Cemetery on Smith Branch. Visitation will be on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and after 10:00 AM until the service hour on Saturday. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
