Ida Carr Tucker, age 83 of Lafayette passed away Wednesday morning, October 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving family in Lafayette, TN. Ida is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Funeral Services for Ida Tucker will be conducted Saturday morning, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Reverend Hubert Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin Friday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until her service at 11:00 a.m.
Family request memorials be made to Lafayette United Methodist Church. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by, Parents, Jack Daniel & Lillian Estelle White Carr, Sister, Mary Louis Moreland, & Brother, Jack Daniel Carr, Jr.
Survivors include: Husband of 63 years, Louie Tucker of Lafayette, Daughters & Sons-in-law, Cynthia (Donnie) Mitchell of Clarksville, Dana (William) Carter of Lafayette, Grandchildren, Jaclyn Carter & fiancé, Johnny Childress, MacKenzy (Casey) Reed, Zachary (Sara) Carter, Brad (Natalie) Mitchell, Melanie (Jack) Jenkins, Michelle Mitchell, Great-Grandchildren, Hugh & Louie Carter, Jack Reed, Clayton Mitchell, Grayson Mitchell, Gavin Mitchell, Sister, Katherine Carr Winn of Clarksville, Sister-in-law, Patricia Tucker of Lafayette, and a host of nieces and nephews.
