Idris Saeed Obituary
Idris is reunited with his beautiful wife Zainab of 50 years. They raised a beautiful and loving family with 7 children that grew greatly.
Idris was an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a phenomenal man who was a Chaplin in Prisons, an accomplished saxophonist, an artist, a motivational speaker, and a mentor to many. He loved his family and their time together and he loved jazz.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Zainab Saeed; parents, Richard Armstong and Imogene Wright, and sister Elizabeth Armstrong.
His memory will be cherished by his daughters; Zahkiyyah Saeed, Rashida Glover, Khalila Saeed, Jannah Hollowell, and Tiffany Thomas; sons, Saleem El-Amin and Rashid Saeed; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and many friends and loved ones.
Idris will be remembered by the many that he inspired and mentored, and most affectionately by his family and loved ones.
