Iesha Raeshele Givens, 28, of Springfield, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 20025 at her residence. Iesha was born October 2, 1996, to Hope Crockran & Hugh Givens Jr. She was a 2015 graduate of Shawnee High School, where she participated in the Marching Band for 4 years. She was also a member of the Possum Middle School Band for 2 years. Iesha also attended Springfield Clark CTC where she discovered her love for caregiving and teaching as an Early Childhood Development student. While there she received major top honors and awards.
Iesha was a sweet spirit with a warm gentle heart, a smile that would light up any room and the most contagious laugh you could ever hear. Iesha was a caregiver at heart; she loved to take care of her elderly family members. She was employed by Villa Rehabilitation Center as an STNA. She was a devoted worker although she was a Weekend Warrior. Villa was her second home, she would go in whenever asked. Always picking up shifts to ensure that her co-workers weren't alone. She loved to check on her residents, taking pride in her work.
Iesha was a devoted Mother, Daughter & Sister. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her oldest daughter Alona Raeshele Givens. Her parents Hope (Christopher) Crockran Sr & Hugh (Tanya) Givens Jr. Brothers JacQuan Mitchell-Givens Sr. and Koleman Blocker. Sisters Ayanna (Lee) Tilley Sr., Terae, Na'Veya, and Chaunti Strickland and Ava Taylor-Givens. Her nieces Malanii Stickland and Aurora Mitchell-Givens. Her nephews Lee Tilley Jr. and JaQuan Mitchell-Givens Jr. along with her many stepbrothers and sisters. Her loving grandparents Terri Strodes and Hugh and Sharon Givens Sr. Her aunts Kendra (Richard) Busbee, and Kyra (Steven) Tyler. Uncles Armon (Amy) Evans and Suluki (Christina) Evans. Her cousins, especially her 205 crew and a host of other special friends.
She was preceded in death by her beautiful baby girl, Maia Jai Givens. Grandfather Lawrence Strodes, Great-Grandmother Connie Wilson, Aunt Monique Burch and Gram Winkie Mitchell.
Esha, although your presence is no longer with us, your spirit will forever live in our hearts.
