Ileana Silguero Perez, 62, passed away on March 5th, 2025, in Houston, Texas in her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 14, 1962, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Ileana lived a life filled with love and generosity. She was known for her unwavering determination in all avenues of life and her kind hearted nature, always extending warmth and support to all those around her. She had a deep love for travel, embracing new experiences and cultures with enthusiasm. No family vacation will be the same without her.
She is preceded in death by her father, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Angel Perez; her mother, Bertha Silguero; her daughters, Angelica Medrano, Nataly Perez, and Ileana Perez; 3 loving grandchildren: Kimberly Celeste, Kristin Alena, and Julian Angel Medrano; and by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
A Funeral Mass will be held on March 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1505 Kane St., Houston, Texas, 77007. A visitation will follow later that same day from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 W. 34th St., Houston, Texas, 77018. A Rosary service will take place immediately after the visitation from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. Final visitation will occur on March 15, 2025 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Walters Funeral Home, 610 S Commerce St, Centerville, TX 75833. Procession will begin at 12:30pm and Ileana will be laid to rest on March 15, 2025, with a burial service at the family's Centerstone Cemetery at Centerstone Ranch in Centerville, Texas, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Ileana's strong spirit and kind heart will leave a lasting mark on those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
