Patricia Selma (Copeland) Weaver, born December 5, 1960, in Pasadena, Texas, passed away July 29, 2025, at her home in Flynn, Texas. Trish was known for her love of singing karaoke, dancing the night away, wetting a hook to catch the elusive fish, being Ms. Fix It, and a deep abiding love for family and her dogs. Growing up in Huffman, Texas, she thoroughly enjoyed her teen years running the roads with friends. Later in life, she spent the bulk of her time in Chriesman, Texas hosting karaoke, cleaning houses, and dancing and twirling at her favorite watering holes, enjoying the laughter with treasured friends.
She is survived by her partner of thirty-eight years, Beth Graves of Chriesman; devoted sons, Tim Weaver (Kelli), Brian Gully, and Charles Joey Weaver (Courtney); and grandchildren, Katie Weaver, Gauge Weaver, Charleigh Weaver, Brian Gully Jr, Erika Chase, and great-grandchild Leo Gully. She is also survived by loving sisters, Lee Ann Buscemi, Gwen Bowers, and Barbara Copeland (Linda), as well as nieces and nephews, Kathy Kindred (Greg), Brian Buscemi (Sarah), Jamie Lindsey (Darren), Lester Bubba Bowers Jr. (Krystal), and numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins. On the Graves’ side, she is survived by many who loved her.
Trish was proceeded in death by her parents, Nell and Joe Copeland and beloved nephew, Joe Paul Don Copeland.
We will celebrate Trish's life on Saturday, August 2, 2025, starting at 1 P.M., at the Copeland Casa in the suburbs of Flynn, 1428 Old Flynn Rd, Flynn, Texas. All are welcome to come and share a story, sing a song or just enjoy the fellowship with those who loved her.
