Imo "Jean" Budde, 92, of Chelsea passed away Thursday, November 13th in Tulsa.
Jean Budde was born on September 26, 1933, in Grainola, Oklahoma, to Aaron and LaVedra Arnold. After moving to Tulsa in 1954, she met her teenage sweetheart, Edwin Oelenberger. The two married in 1956 and shared 58 devoted years together until his passing in 2014. In 1965, they had relocated to Chelsea, Oklahoma, where they raised their two children, Eddie and Vickie. At the age of 84, Jean was blessed to find companionship again and spent the last eight years of her life married to her lifelong friend, Robert "Bob" Budde. Her life was defined by resilience, family, and the enduring bonds she cherished.
Jean enjoyed the peaceful creativity of recreational oil painting and was a devoted antique dealer with a keen eye for valuable and unique collectibles. She was also a faithful weekly Bingo player, beloved by her community. Jean will be remembered for her gentle heart, caring spirit and her deep and unwavering love for the Lord.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and LaVedra Arnold; her siblings, David Arnold and Louise Apple; her husband, Edwin Oelenberger; and her great-granddaughter, Ashley Rosamond.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Budde of Chelsea; her children, Victoria Jean Marang and husband Mark of Chelsea, and Edwin "Eddie" Fred Oelenberger and wife Pam of Statesville, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Vikki Marang and Jeremy Young of Broken Arrow, Ryan Oelenberger and wife Jennifer of Statesville, North Carolina, Justin Marang of Claremore, Bonny Guerrero and husband Jose of Chelsea, and Jordan Oelenberger of Charlotte, North Carolina; and her great-grandchildren, Phoenix Young, Ronan Young, Kolden Oelenberger, Reid Oelenberger, Emma Guerrero, Elsie Guerrero, Emilia Guerrero, and Mariano Guerrero. She is also survived by her nephew, Bucky Marang of Claremore, along with many other extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the House of Prayer, 14101 S. HWY 66, Claremore, OK with Pastor Denton Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home and Crematory Walker-Brown Chapel.
