Imogene B. Genzman

Imogene B. Genzman, 92 formerly of Oak Harbor, OH died Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Harrisons Crossing, Terre Haute, IN under Hospice Care. She was born December 3, 1933 in Lime City, OH to the late Russell and Emma (Banney) Hanthorn. On April 14, 1953 she married Elroy Genzman who preceded her in death August 20, 2015. Imogene was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor.

Survivors include her children: Rev. Richard (Karen) Genzman of Galion, OH and Debbie (Steve) Railsback of Terre Haute, IN; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers: Joseph, Arthur, Jack, and Russell Hanthorn; and sisters Betty Schiller and Letta Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elroy, son Fredrick Genzman, granddaughter Rachel Cooke, and brother Robert Hanthorn.

A Memorial Service will begin at 11am on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa Street, Oak Harbor, OH 43449 and officiated by Rev. Becky Bolander and Rev. Richard Genzman. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, followed by a luncheon back at the Church. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Ev.
