Imogene White, a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great, great grandmother, bid farewell to this world leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was known for her love of her family, and her canine companions, and her friends.

Born in Quanah (Hardeman County), Texas in 1934 to her parents William Martin Owens and Dovie Whitman Owens, Imogene's journey on this earth came to a peaceful end on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Kaufman, Texas.

Throughout her life, she touched the lives of many with her warm personality and kind spirit. She was passionate of reading and quilting. And Imogene had a special affinity to travel the United States from coast to coast. Imogene found immense joy in the company of her family. Her love for them knew no bounds and those moments will forever be etched in their hearts. Imogene also leaves behind her two furry companions, Chico and Minnie, whom she loved to pamper, and who brought her comfort and companionship.

Those family members remaining to cherish Imogene's memory, are daughter, Ramona Hughes of Kaufman; son Randall Owens White of Kaufman; son, Ralph White (spouse - Anita), and her daughter-in-law, Dawn White. Thirteen (13) grandchildren, fifteen (15) great grandchildren, and nine (9) great, great grandchildren also survive.

Those family preceding her in death, are her spouse, Harold White whom she married on October 30, 1953, in Gainesville, Texas; her parents, William M. Owens and Dovie (Whitman) Owens; son Richard White; and her six (6) sisters.

As we bid farewell to Imogene, let us cherish the memories she left with all of us. May her kind soul rest in eternal peace knowing that she was loved deeply and will never be forgotten.
