April 20, 1937 - April 25, 2025
Imogene Bedwell Wingate, 88, of Roanoke, passed away, Friday, April 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nannie Bedwell; husband, Joe Donald Wingate; and daughter Karen Wingate Agnew.
Surviving are her brother Robert Bedwell and wife Gussie; children, Susan Fleming and husband Garry and Greg Wingate; and wife Kim; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous friends who she considered family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Imogene's name to a charity of your choice.
Services will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. Interment will follow services at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home (540)366-0707.
